Microbiological Testing
EconoMart offers microbiological testing services and have access to a large range of ISO 17025 accredited microbiological test methods available by qualified microbiologists or food scientists. We also collect samples from clients’ premises.
Economart can assist in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and offer clients hands-on assistance with the design, implementation and verification of such systems. Via our network, trainers present customised training courses in-house at clients’ premises or at venues, or at general venues in major centres across South Africa. Training is FoodBev SETA accredited.
Our network comprises consultants who are qualified in Environmental Health and/or Food Technology. Hygiene audits are based on regulations under the National Health Act (Act no. 61 of 2003) and R918, but they are customised to meet the individual needs of clients and industry. Audit findings are backed up by scientific evaluation of swabs and product samples tested at ISO 17025 accredited laboratories, and audit reports provide detailed action plans and recommendations.
Hygiene and Safety Training
In addition to hygiene training mentioned above EconoMart offers training on general safety and correct use of personal protective equipment. Through our network we also offer short courses in the following areas: General Health and Safety, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Health and Safety Representative, Incident Investigation, Relevant Safety and Health Regulations, Safety Officer, Legal Liability, Stacking and Storage, Confined Spaces, Supervisory and correct use of hand tools.

EconoMart offers a full service offering from sourcing clothing to exact branding requirements.
Contract Cleaning
Through its partners EconoMart offers highly trained cleaning crews across a wide range of industries that include: Business Cleaning Services, Industrial Cleaning Services, Healthcare Cleaning Services, Education Cleaning Services: This includes cleaning educational institution such as Technicons, colleges and universities, Hospitality Cleaning Services, Retail and Janitorial Cleaning Services and Public Transport Cleaning Services.
Delivering and Issuing at Customer Premises
In addition to delivering products to your premises or site, the issuing of personal protective gear and consumables can be taken care of by EconoMart. This can include all administration activities on your site.
